Dining With The Nine of Pentacles

I drew the Nine of Pentacles today from the Fifth Spirit Tarot deck as a daily tarot reading. The card portrayed a banquet from the reader POV. Later, on the same day, Liz treated me the most delicious Italian dinner I have ever eaten in Melbourne at Cucinetta.

Right before we ate, I managed to snap a picture of our meals which reminded me of the image on the card. And that, my friend, was one of tarot-imitating-life moments for me.

A Four of Wands Day

I did a different type of morning tarot drawing today. Instead of one, I took five cards. Overambitious much?? I was inspired after reading the Good Morning Tarot Spread in the Witch magazine.

The first card is the focus of the day, followed by something to be excited about and a fun healing activity. The fourth card is advice for the day and the last one being an event that might happen.

Almost all of the cards seemed gloomy and unrelatable.

I then consulted the book and read that the Four of Wands is an optimistic card, and if it appears in the reading, it is the only thing that matters.

Oh well, I carried on with my day focusing on that.

I ended up having a great night with Nikki and Liz drinking and steak night-ing at Belgium Beer cafe. It felt just like the old times.

Sani Soup

Today’s my last night in Jakarta. I had enough fun this time. Dinner with my parents, shopping and coffee with Amma, napping, and a movie with cousins.

Today’s dinner at Sop Sani was particularly my favorite. Because we went there together, the three of us, like old times, dating back from 20 years ago. When I was young, my parents would eagerly wait for me to ask for the second serving of the soup and rice, which I did this time as well.

It was a joyous family event. I am really grateful for this moment in my life.
