There is a difference between practising writing and having a writer mind. To write more than a couple of sentences a day makes me a diarist, not a writer. Being a writer means thinking like a writer all the time and seeing whether I can document parts of my life with an interesting enough angle to be written and later to be enjoyed as a reading.
Today I spent most of my free time studying Ethics. The subject itself is not too painful, but it’s pretty meh and forgettable. I worked for the rest of the afternoon and chatted with my cousins about random things.
Now I wonder are those moments worth to write?
