I received a birthday gift today.

It was a surprise gift (the best kind) from a colleague who i like dearly.

A slice of cake and glittery top.

She has the same top, which when she had worn, I complimented her and forgotten about it. She said she wanted to give me something I liked and she knew i would like that top of hers.

I was chuffed.

I too make efforts to choose good gifts for my friends. Something they like.

Still it never crossed my mind before to give them something that they had seen me with and clearly had shown that they liked it.

To wear the exact same thing as your friend is not something people can easily accept ( so i found her gesture is really touching, also the top was fab.
